Hace un año, desde la Fundación Protestante Hora de Obrar lanzamos una campaña para acompañar a cientos de familias que atraviesan una situación crítica en el acceso a los alimentos. Hoy, con enorme gratitud, queremos compartir lo que esta red de solidaridad ha logrado y renovar el llamado: la emergencia continúa, y el invierno golpea más fuerte que nunca. Apoyá con tu donación a los 14 centros comunitarios que alimentan a más de 1000 personas.
Gracias al compromiso de 86 personas, y a donaciones de empresas e instituciones, que dijeron sí al llamado, en este primer año logramos reunir más de 27 millones de pesos y distribuir más de 10 toneladas de alimentos. Este esfuerzo colectivo es una señal clara de que nuestras comunidades no son indiferentes al dolor ajeno. Pero también es un recordatorio: el hambre no se terminó, la emergencia continúa y el invierno no espera.
Fe que se cocina en las ollas
Una de las experiencias más conmovedoras de este año ha sido la que se vive cada semana en la Congregación Evangélica Alemana de Rosario, donde la comunidad entrega 100 viandas los martes y 80 los sábados en la terminal de ómnibus. Allí, cientas de personas reciben no solo un plato de comida, sino también una palabra, una escucha, un abrazo.
“Yo sentía que mi fe estaba incompleta hasta que empezamos con estas acciones. Ahora siento que me encuentro con Dios allí, entre las ollas y entre quienes reciben una ración de alimento que les permite irse a dormir con algo en la panza”, cuenta uno de los jóvenes que forma parte del dispositivo.
Un llamado al corazón de nuestras comunidades
Sabemos que los tiempos son difíciles para todas las familias, pero aún más para quienes no tienen garantizada una comida diaria. Por eso, invitamos a las congregaciones, comunidades de fe y personas solidarias a renovar el compromiso con esta campaña. Sigamos a Jesús multiplicando panes. ¿Solo 86 personas se involucraron? ¿Y el resto de los miembros de la I.E.R.P.?. Según información creada por IA son más de 20.000 en Argentina; ¿como responderán ante Dios en el postrer día cuando se les diga: tuve hambre y no me diste de comer?
La conclusión a la que he llegado es que falta comunicación. No recuerdo que en los anuncios que se hacen los domingos en los cultos y el boletín que se distribuye periódicamente se haya mencionado el pedido de colaboración, especialmente por la congregación de Rosario que pertenece al distrito Oeste al igual que esta congregación (Esperanza). Lo mismo ocurrió cuando la Fundación hizo el pedido para los afectados por la inundación de Bahía Blanca, sin mencionar que el templo de la I.E.R.P. también estuvo afectado.-
Deberían pedirle, creo que a los pastores, que pongan más énfasis en informar a la congregación sobre los pedidos específicos que la Fundación realiza. (lo hago en plural pero basado en lo que ocurre en esta congregación, pero pensando que en las demás congregacionnes pasa lo mismo en virtud de la poca colaboración que han recibido)
Me hago eco en la reflexión de la pastora Andersen en la lectura diaria del 16 de Junio:»…. vivimos profundamente nuestra fe, pero en silencio; no la compartimos con nuestro entorno…..». Estamos encerrados en nosotros mismos.
