La Junta Unida de Misiones (JUM) participó del Encuentro de jóvenes indígenas del Chaco trinacional junto a organizaciones de Argentina, Bolivia y Paraguay. Se intercambió sobre el cuidado del ambiente desde la perspectiva indígena, la espiritualidad del monte y Hora de Obrar aportó la mirarda desde la ecoteología con las reflexiones del pastor Jorge Weishein.
Del 7 al 10 de noviembre se desarrolló el 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 dónde participaron organizaciones de Paraguay, Bolivia, Salta, Santa Fe, de la plataforma de Chaco Sustentable, entre ellas la Junta Unida de Misiones. Hubo gran participación de jóvenes locales y Hora de Obrar que brindó capacitaciones y talleres sobre ecoteología.
«Pensamos el aporte de la ecoteología donde la fe y la espiritualidad cuestionan a la sociedad actual, dónde se propone una nueva espiritualidad del cuidado del medio ambiente, auténticamente humano, protector de la casa común y la madre tierra mediante el buen uso de los recursos. El diálogo entre cosmovisión indígena y ecoteología es un camino para alertar a la humanidad del desastre ecológico. Dios puso como cuidadores no como depredador de nuestra única casa», expresó Raúl Romero, coordinador de la JUM.
